This page explains plainly what information the surlebanc.app website and the Sur le banc app (hockey.surlebanc.app) keep, why, who sees it, and how to have it corrected or deleted.

What is never collected

  • No tracking cookies, no trackers, no analytics, no ads.
  • No dates of birth, no photos, no family addresses, no phone location.
  • No data sold or used for any other purpose. No player data sent to an artificial intelligence service.
  • No fonts or scripts loaded from another service: the website and the app serve their own.

This website (surlebanc.app)

The website asks for nothing, sets no cookies and contains no scripts. It is served by Cloudflare, which processes technical data (IP address, browser type) for as long as it takes to show the page and protect the site; no visitor statistics are turned on.

If you write to info@surlebanc.app, we keep your message and email address to answer you, and for nothing else.

What the app keeps

For parents and staff: the email address (to sign in), the chosen display name, the role (parent, supporter, staff, manager) and, for staff, the position.

For players: first name, last name (shown as an initial only) and jersey number.

For the team: the schedule, attendance (in or out), the number of guests at an outing, tournament hotel bookings (“I booked”), messages, reactions and, for each thread, up to which message each person has read (“Seen”).

For a game tracked live: the score, goals and assists with our players’ numbers and first names, penalties and shots. Opponents are recorded by number only.

If you turn on notifications: your device’s subscription address and the kinds of notifications you chose.

Why

Only to run the team: knowing who will be there, keeping in touch, following the schedule and the games.

Who sees what

Team members see the schedule, attendance, the player and staff lists, and the whole-team thread. Other teams see nothing.

Emails: everyone sees only their own; the manager sees those of their team.

A private thread is visible only to its participants (and the parents of the chosen players). The manager can’t read it unless they’re in it.

These rules are enforced by the database itself, not just by the app.

On your phone

To work without signal at the rink, the app keeps a copy of the team’s data and unsent answers on the phone. “Sign out” erases everything.

Free games (game stats kept without an account) stay only on the phone: they are never sent to a server.

How long

Data is kept for the season. At the end of the season, or on request, the manager can export and then delete the team’s data.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information or your child’s, or to remove your access: write to info@surlebanc.app or to your team manager. You can change your display name anytime in your profile.

If an incident affects your information, you will be informed.
